Soloists

We offer soloists, whether an instrumentalist or singers an opportunity to have the experience to perform with a full orchestra in a London venue. We have given major soloists such as Nicola Bennedetti, Max Rysanov, Yuri Zhislin, leaders of the London Philharmonic Pieter Schoeman and Kristina Blaumane a platform to have the experience before going to perform or record a concert in a more pressured setting. For major concert works we will have 2 or 3 rehearsals when other orchestras will only offer one and the concerts are videoed. There is a free choice of repertoire (subject to approval of the artistic director that will depend on the scoring and suitability for the programme).

The orchestra is very friendly and there is no pressure on anyone taking part and the conductors who are also learning are eager to collaborate for soloists.

Interested soloists should send a video or link to their playing and a choice of their preferred repertoire.
